Tales From The Backlog

Good day everyone. For those who did not see the announcement in my last blog post, I am starting a new monthly collaboration event for anyone to participate in. The EXP Share Post is a monthly collaboration event where anyone in or outside the community can share their stories and experiences with each given topic. The topic for the month will be announced at the beginning of each month. For those who would like to participate, you will have until the end of the month to share your post via your blog or social media. At the end of the month, I will accumulate all the post and share them in one big post. Afterwards, the process will repeat with a new topic posted the following month. Don’t feel pressured if you don’t have a story to share on each subject. There will be other topics that might interest you in the future and I hope you will join us for those.

To kick things off, I wanted to start things off at the beginning. Since this is a new beginning for something I hope we can all enjoy, let’s tell our story on how we got started in the first place. This month’s topic is:

The video game, moment, or reason that got you into gaming.

For some of us, it was simply picking up a controller one day and thus the spiral began. For others, there might be a hidden story behind it. Was it something that you dropped for a while and then had a renaissance moment, or just something you started and have been doing for years? No matter how big or small the moment was, please share it with us!
